Grown-Up Craft, Childlike Heart

The joy of childhood is never too far away, and we've conjured JUST that feeling with the logo design and visual elements for The Cottage Nursery; a home away from home for the littlest of littles. Instead of starting with what looks "professional," we started with what feels like fun: scribbled lines, soft imperfections, the kind of energy you'd find on a nursery wall covered in finger paint. We've created a custom handwritten font and key visuals with a quirky and gestural aesthetic — nothing too polished, nothing too precise. Every letterform wobbles just enough to feel alive, and every illustration looks like it could have been drawn mid-giggle. Indulge us a little...the feeling of PLAY is palpable in every piece of design! From the logo to the smallest visual flourish, this is an identity built to be climbed on, coloured in, and loved a little messily just like childhood itself.
